Inter Milan have approached Tottenham for Japhet Tanganga.

The defender is a loan target for the Nerazzurri, reports Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio.

Tanganga is available from Tottenham this summer after slipping down the defensive pecking order.

Inter hope to take Tanganga on-loan, with Spurs demanding a permanent option be included in the deal.

For his part, Tanganga is open to the move.
