Inter chief Branca insists no concrete Man Utd bid for Sneijder

Inter Milan chief Marco Branca insists Manchester United never made a firm offer for Wesley Sneijder.

Sneijder revealed this week a move to Old Trafford was close.

"There was various interest for Sneijder, but no concrete offers came our way," Branca is told La Repubblica.

"He is happy regarding the interest from these clubs who are as strong as Inter, but he was happy to stay here.

"Inter are also happy that he stayed as we have a great player in our squad who is wanted by the biggest clubs."
