INSIDER: Real Madrid and Ramos closer to agreement; bonus being pushed

Real Madrid and Sergio Ramos remain at loggerheads over his new contract.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, while speaking on El Chiringuito.

Ramos comes off contract in June and Inda said: "Real Madrid offers Sergio Ramos two seasons with the same salary of €13.7 million and Sergio Ramos wants two years plus an optional one, although he would accept the salary reduction to which the entire squad is subjected.

“At the moment I am quite optimistic. Much more than a week ago. There has been a meeting in the last few days, several in the last weeks and the differences are substantially less than a week ago.

"It comes to me that Sergio Ramos would also want financial compensation for the signing-on fee that he would miss out on for staying at Real Madrid, but that is not information that has been verified by both parties."
