Insider: Everton boss Ancelotti wants reunion with Tottenham attacker Bale

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen on a reunion with Tottenham attacker Gareth Bale.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, while speaking on El Chiringuito.

Bale won the Champions League at Real Madrid under Ancelotti and now that he's proving his fitness on-loan with Spurs, the Everton manager is eager to work with the Wales captain again. Bale struck a hat-trick in victory over Sheffield United last weekend.

"Ancelotti has asked for Bale, a player he always loved when they met at Real Madrid," stated Inda, as quoted by Okdiario.

"He wants to take him to Everton."

Bale's loan with Spurs doesn't include a permanent option. However, it's been claimed Tottenham have first refusal on the attacker - including a second loan - though it is not unilateral. Bale would have to agree to the move.

With Ancelotti, Bale enjoyed some of his best football with Real Madrid and won the Champions League.

This season with Spurs, Bale has played 30 games and struck an impressive 14 goals. The attacker also has produced three assists.
