Michy Batshuayi is reluctant to give up his lucrative Chelsea contract, it has been revealed.

The Belgium striker is inside the final 18 months of his current deal and been linked with a return to Olympique Marseille this week.

Le Soir's Frederic Larsimont revealed to Le Phoceen: "He clings to his contract with Chelsea which is excellent on the financial level, but he is regularly obliged to change clubs by being loaned, it's a shame.

"There comes a point in his career when he has to make the right choice. I do not know if this rumour of a return to OM is founded, but I think it would not be a bad idea. It is a team he knows, where he has succeeded and Marseille is a volcano.

"It's a context that suits him well, and to minimise risk-taking, I think it would be a good choice."
