Injuries heap more misery on struggling Perth Glory

Perth Glory may endure more pain when they take on second-placed Adelaide United tonight after two unnamed players were ruled out of the clash after training yesterday.

Glory coach Ian Ferguson said that two key players suffered injuries ahead of the clash with the Reds which is a vital fixture for the West Australian club who have lost eight of their past nine.

"We've actually had a few problems this morning just where one of the sessions - I've got two concerns now so I couldn't actually name the team," Ferguson said yesterday.

"The session this morning, I had these plans of what we were going to do ... and then we got a couple of injuries.

"I don't want to tell you who they are at this moment. Let's say they're not out of the game, it was just a couple of things for concern so I won't say too much.

"I've got 17 travelling with us at this moment, so we'll see how the players are."

Perth meet Adelaide at Hindmarsh Stadium tonight in Week 13's midweek fixture - kick-off is at 6:30pm local time (7:00pm AEDT).
