Inigo Perez has been named new coach of Rayo Vallecano.
Inigo replaces Francisco, who was sacked by Rayo on Tuesday.
Inigo's last job was assistant coach to Andoni Iraola at Rayo last season before the latter's departure for Bournemouth.
He said at today's presentation: "Part of my idea of football belongs to Andoni and coaches that we have shared. I have been lucky to learn from him. Andoni is Andoni and I am Iñigo. The idea is similar. It's the line I like.
“Before seeing them (the players) you can imagine what they are like. I have seen a team hurt by Francisco's departure and now they will have to convince the new person who arrives.
"With the inertia that the team has, we have to make them see that until recently they were winning and scoring.
“In the summer I was not going to feel ethically comfortable. I wanted to continue with Andoni for my training and learning. My going there has not been possible. It is not the same situation. With me come Adrián López as assistant and Oscar García as physical trainer."
