Indian Super League meets with Premier League counterparts

Officials of IMG-Reliance & Star India - the organisers of Hero Indian Super League, along with its eight participating club representatives are visiting London for a five-day workshop, commencing from 29th April 2015, reports www.fcbusiness.co.uk The 23-member Indian Super League contingent will first visit the Premier League headquarter followed by the offices of three clubs - Arsenal FC, Crystal Palace FC and West Bromwich Albion FC under the exchange programme to explore their expertise in nurturing and growing a high quality football competition.

The workshop will feature knowledge sharing sessions and discussions on various topics such as Premier League Structure & Governance, Branding, Youth Development & Academies, Community Development, Fan Engagements, Club Organisation and Communications.

Commenting on the initiative, Mrs. Nita Ambani, Chairperson, Football Sports Development Limited said, "We are delighted to have established strong relationship with Premier League to promote and bring in the best practices to India.

"The success of Indian Super League in its inaugural year has open many frontiers for the Indian football, world over today and I am hopeful that partnership with Premier League will enable our clubs to build from the very best in the business.
