Paul Ince is set to be confirmed as new manager of Blackpool.
The Daily Mail says Ince is to be unveiled as Blackpool's new manager after two days of talks with officials at Bloomfield Road.
The appointment will be confirmed in the next 24 hours, after the former MK Dons, Blackburn and Notts County boss convinced chairman Karl Oyston that he was the right man to succeed Michael Appleton.
Steve Thompson, assistant to Ian Holloway and caretaker manager since Appleton left to take over at Blackburn, has also been interviewed for the post but will be No 2 to Ince.
