New England Revolution have announced the signing of Dimitry Imbongo following his departure from German club 1860 Munich.

The 22-year old Congo-born French striker has signed with the Revs as a free agent after his contract with Munich expired.

Imbongo came up through 1860's youth academy and during his time at the Grunwalder Stadium, was loaned out to SV Darmstadt in the third division.
