Promising Australian talent Chris Ikonomodis has led Lazio's youth team to the Coppa Primavera title, scoring a brace in his side's 2-0 win over Roma on the weekend.
The 19-year old scored twice in the first half to help his side overturn a 1-0 deficit in the first leg to defend their Cup crown with a 2-1 aggregate triumph.
A clinical left foot strike from Ikonomodis gave Lazio the equaliser in the tie before he went on to the score the winner on the cusp of half-time.
This victory continues a stellar season for the Sydney native, who recently made his debut for the Socceroos against Macedonia, and was once again on the bench for Lazio's senior side in their 4-0 win against Parma mid-week.
