Igor Tudor delighted taking charge of Lazio

Igor Tudor is delighted taking charge of Lazio.

Tudor has stepped in after Maurizio Sarri's resignation.

He said at his presentation: "There are no reasons. In the sense, Lazio is a prestigious club, one of those who do this job would like to coach. Coaching a team like Lazio is a question of prestige, a beautiful thing and stimulating. It is a prestigious team, with strong players and a special fan base. Being part of this club and this city, which are unique, cannot be ignored.

"I feel good, the structures are nice and you can work well. The nice thing is that a coach here can do really well. They are all set up to do well, there is seriousness and the right organisation, which is what I like. Almost like a family. Looking from the outside I have always seen that the coach of this club always has an important role in his work."

He continued: "Let's see what I can give. I think you can always give a lot. You have to start working intelligently and in the right way. When you come from a coach who plays another type of football it takes a bit of adaptation and time. I think that there is a healthy group of people who work and apply themselves. It's up to me to convey the ideas I have in my head as soon as possible, I think we'll do it quickly."

He added, “I don't give up anything as a coach. I want to see everything in the team: offensive phase, defensive phase, transitions, determination, running, quality of play, possession, running into space. I think modern football is going in that direction, of attacking with many men, of scoring goals, of not being boring. I'll try to do all this. I'll be better at something, less at something, but it's always an improvement. I'm someone who is never satisfied. There's always something to push and improve."
