Odion Ighalo has penned a new contract with Watford.
On the eve of the new Premier League season, the Nigerian striker has boosted the Hornets by putting pen to a five-year deal which will keep him at Vicarage Road until the summer of 2012.
Ighalo, who scored 15 league goals last season, had been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion earlier this summer but has now committee this future to the Hornets.
The 27-year-old was also wanted by Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG but has opted against a Hertfordshire departure and his extended for one further season from his old deal.
