Ibrahimovic: I told (ex-Barca president) Rosell - 'I want to go to Real Madrid'

PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits he wanted to join Real Madrid when Barcelona chose to sell him.

In his book, 'I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic', Ibra recalls a conversation with former Barca president Sandro Rosell when he was told he'd be sold.

"Rosell said: 'Which team do you want to go to?'

"I replied: 'Real Madrid'.

"He went pale. Allowing a star of Barca to go to Real Madrid is betrayal.

"Rosell said: 'No way. That's the least option.

"I was really shaking. Mino (Raiola) and I had been very clear. We are now playing our game. And I was very calm.

"I said: 'I've been asked a question and I gave you an answer. And I'm happy to say that Madrid is the only team in which I see myself playing. I like (Jose) Mourinho but you have to call them and tell them. Are you okay?'"

Eventually, Rosell sold Ibra to AC Milan... for a HUGE loss.
