Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has welcomed the arrival of Andrea Agnelli as new president.

Agnelli will replace Jean-Claude Blanc who reprises his former role as Juventus' administrator delegate.

Speaking to the Juventus Channel, Iaquinta said: "Andrea's arrival is wonderful news. The club's decision has fallen on an important person with Juventus in his blood.

"I am convinced that he will do well. He is an important presence for Juventus' future. He transmitted good sensations when he visited us in December, even if he spoke little seeing the difficult moment we were going through, but the impression he gave was great."
