Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has welcomed the appointment of Gigi del Neri as new coach. Sampdoria president Riccardo Garrone announced last night that Del Neri was leaving: "I think he is going to Turin".

Iaquinta is happy to work for Del Neri and said: "Let us welcome him with open arms, he is a very well prepared coach.

"For next season, we need to change attitudes, as this year it was all wrong."
