I would take Leicester star Vardy over Arsenal forward Walcott – Bullard

Former Hull City and Fulham star Jimmy Bullard has stated that he would choose Leicester City's Jamie Vardy over Arsenal's Theo Walcott for the England national team during the 2016 European Championship in France.

Vardy has enjoyed a sensational start to the campaign and is currently leading the Premier League's scoring charts after already managing to find the back of the net on six occasions.

Such form means that Vardy simply cannot be overlooked for the England national team and Bullard has now stated that the Foxes ace should be picked by Roy Hodgson ahead of Arsenal forward Walcott in next summer's Euros.

Bullard told The Express: "There's so many youngsters coming through. There are so many players on form. You have to pick in-form players going into tournaments.

"I love the look of Vardy. He's always looking to get in behind the defence and he's quick. I think he's as quick as Walcott for me, but he has more about him. He's a Little bit better and a bit more clinical.

"Walcott lacks that composure and quality and even his strike last weekend wasn't a clean one. Vardy didn't panic. I would go Vardy over Walcott. I would take Sturridge and Vardy."
