Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho admits he risked ruining his legacy at the club when he returned almost two years ago.
The Portuguese enjoyed success in his initial spell as Stamford Bridge boss, winning two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups between 2004 and 2007.
Mourinho departed west London for Inter Milan and then onto Real Madrid before coming back to Chelsea in the summer of 2013 to lead the club to the 2014/15 Premier League and Capital One Cup double.
"When you go back to a place where you had success before you risk a little bit of your prestige, your history. I risked it," Mourinho said after clinching this season's premiership with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at home.
"This amazing team that was Chelsea's team for a decade is not here anymore. And a new team won again.
"Now I can say I won titles for Chelsea with two different generations, separated by almost a decade."
