New Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has admitted that he had to do some research on the club before accepting the role.
The Danish great replaced Brendan Rodgers recently and has revealed that he made sure he was joining a decent club after an unhappy stint with Spanish club Real Mallorca which ended in September last year.
"I think the research is very important. If I had done some more research in former jobs I might have taken some other decisions.
"The people I talked to were very positive. People said 'Michael it would be a good club for you'.""I didn't know so much (about Swansea), to be honest," he said.
