FC Dallas coach Schellas Hyndman says winning the MLS Cup would give soccer a great lift in Texas.

Hyndman says a win over the Colorado Rapids would be great for the city and the 240,000 youth soccer players in the Dallas area.

Hyndman believes a title victory would prompt people to say: "One day I hope to be part of that FC Dallas team."

Dallas has never before played for Major League Soccer championship. Colorado made it to the final once, losing in 1997.
