Huth: Middlesbrough must start winning

Middlesbrough must start winning, admits fit-again defender Robert Huth.

"The teams around us, who have changed managers will improve, and we have to pick up with them," he warned, though he was in no way suggesting that Boro should replace Gareth Southgate.

"The form of the team is a bit better, with three draws in the last four games. Perhaps we are getting there, but we won't do it without winning games," he insisted.

"To beat teams we will have to take our chances and defend well. If a bit of luck comes our way, we have to make it count.

"I was pleased to be on the pitch when we scored, but it was a great feeling to see Tuncay's header go in whether I was playing or not.

"As a defender I didn't expect to come on because we were 1-0 down. But we all have to make the most of our opportunities.

"Now that I am back I want to play as often as possible and help the team climb the league."
