Tottenham will learn within days if their bid for Real Madrid striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar has been successful.

The Times says Real Madrid have given Huntelaar until next week to decide on his preferred destination after offers from Tottenham and Stuttgart.

Huntelaar is said to favour a move to Spurs, despite their lack of European football for the coming season.
