After victory over Manchester United, Bolton Wanderers fullback Nicky Hunt says they can finish inside the top-ten this season.
"This result has to be a turning point for us," he said. "We have got off to a good start under the new manager and hopefully, we can remain unbeaten and keep picking up points right through the Christmas period.
Hunt, who made his Bolton debut in a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford which is remembered for Cristiano Ronaldo's amazing introduction to the English game, was delighted just to be involved after dislocating his shoulder against West Ham three weeks ago.
The 24-year-old has endured a succession of shoulder problems throughout his career and it was felt he would be forced to spend another long spell on the sidelines as he was helped off at Upton Park.
Happily, Hunt missed only two games and he has been quick to allay fears of any further damage.
"There is no real problem," he said. "It was a bit of a freak accident when it came out again at West Ham but the work done during the operation I had in the summer is still in tact.
"Hopefully, it won't happen again but I definitely won't need normal surgery, which is pleasing."
