Hull winger Ince can be as good as Real Madrid star Bale says father

Paul Ince believes his son Tom can be as good as Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.

The 23-year old enjoyed a stellar second half of the season on loan with Derby County from Hull City and despite being overlooked by his parent club, can kick on become one of the top players in England according to former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder Paul.

"I'm disappointed with Hull because in every game he's played, he's done well," the former England captain told The Times.

"Instead of playing he's sitting in my house at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon when his team are playing, which can't be right.

"I've not spoken to Steve (Bruce) yet but will be speaking to him very soon. If you allow Thomas to express himself, you'll get rewards, as they've seen at Derby."

He added: "He's still got a bit to do; he's a little bit weak and will be a late developer. I remember looking at Bale and he was a little bit skinny but, the next year, he bulked up and was outstanding.

"That's where Thomas is going to be next year."
