Hull City will have to up their bid if they want to land Sunderland winger Adam Johnson.

The Evening Chronicle says reports have emerged linking Hull City with a £5m move for Sunderland winger Johnson.

However the Black Cats are unlikely to accept a £5m loss on a player who joined them from Manchester City two years ago.
