Hull City striker Greg Luer is determined to make the most of his loan with Port Vale.
The 20-year-old looked sharp after coming on as an 86th-minute substitute on his debut in last Saturday's 2-2 draw at home to Bradford.
He told The Sentinel: "It's just been a great experience for me. I didn't expect to be coming on in my first and second games here. I thought the manager would probably wait a couple of games and then bring me on just to get a feel of it.
"But I am happy with how I have done so far.
"The manager is really down to earth. he has helped me out a lot and made me feel really welcome. When he tells me to go on, he tells me to enjoy it."
