Nikica Jelavic is set to make a return to the Premier League by joining West Ham United, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

With the likes of Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll out with long-term injuries and Modibo Maiga leaving, West Ham are certainly in the market to sign a new striker.

Now much to the relief of the Hammers' faithful, it is suggested that the East London outfit are finally set to land Jelavic.

The 30-year-old is set to undergo a medical at West Ham on deadline day and if all goes well, the Croatian international will be reuniting with former national team Slaven Bilic at the Boleyn Ground.
