Hull seek permission for emergency keeper signing

Hull City are seeking permission to make an emergency goalkeeper signing.

The Hull Daily Mail says the Tigers are exploring the possibility of signing a goalkeeper on an emergency loan basis as they face up to being without both Allan McGregor and Steve Harper this weekend.

Although the transfer window closed for teams in the Premier League on September 1, rules state that clubs are allowed room for manoeuvre in the event of goalkeepers falling to injury.

It is likely any new arrival would only be required to serve as understudy to Eldin Jakupovic at Anfield and theoretically could only be needed as cover for a week.
