Hull City are ready to pounce for Paul Scharner.
The Daily Mail says former Wigan Athletic and West Bromwich Albion defender Scharner has had his contract with Hamburg cancelled.
Hull City have shown interest in the 32-year-old but he is holding talks with Wolfsburg.
