Hull City midfielder David Meyler has only good things to say about manager Steve Bruce.
Meyler played a big part in helping Hull get promoted after joining them from Sunderland last season.
But he has made only five starts this season and vowed to be ready whenever he is called upon by Bruce.
He said: "He showed a lot of faith in me at 19 when we were at Sunderland.
"He threw me in then so he knows what he'll get out of me. I work my socks off for 90 minutes and give him everything I have.
"He knows that and I'm just delighted to have had the opportunity."
