Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone was impressed by Southampton on Saturday.
Saints won 1-0 thanks to early Victor Wanyama drive.
Huddlestone said: "Tactically, i think they're the best team we've played against this season. Every player knows his role in the team and you can see where they are in the league that the manager is doing something right out there.
"It was a great finish but at the time it came that early in the game that it took us a bit by surprise and we found it difficult to get back into it."
