Hull City and Middlesbrough are eyeing Celtic striker Jan Hesselink of Vennegor.

The Sunday Sun says Vennegoor of Hesselink - a free agent after running down his contract at Celtic - would provide height and muscle.

The Dutchman scored 34 goals in 80 appearances during three years at Celtic, having previously averaged a goal almost every other game with PSV Eindhoven.

Lazio are also on his trail, however, with Hull also said to be keen on a man who has scored five goals in 27 games for Holland.
