Hull may sack Livermore

Hull City are weighing up the future of midfielder Jake Livermore.

The Daily Star says Tigers boss Steve Bruce will hold talks with owner Assem Allam over whether to sack Livermore after his drugs shame.

Hull midfielder Livermore has been suspended by the FA and his club after testing positive for cocaine.

Asked whether Hull would be within their rights to sack the £8m midfielder, Bruce said: "I am sure, knowing the owner the way I that I do, he would want to the right thing.

"That's vitally important. Whatever that right thing is, people have their own opinions and certainly when I have the conversation with the club then I'll certainly have my own thoughts."
