Hull City matchwinner James Chester was delighted with victory over QPR.
Chester shook off the attentions of former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand to grab a late winner.
But Chester, who started his career at Old Trafford, paid tribute to Ferdinand afterwards, saying: "I owe him an awful lot from my career.
"I was very lucky growing up and being at United being able to watch Rio, one of the greatest centre backs this country's ever produced.
"He was always there to spare his time and offer his advice. But regardless of who he was marking, it was nice to score!"
