Winger Tom Ince has revealed that Steve McClaren blasted his players at half time during Derby County's 4-4 draw with Huddersfield Town on the weekend.
Derby's play-off hopes looked to be in tatters as they trailed 3-1 against Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium at half-time.
By the end, Derby did manage to salvage a 4-4 draw and now winger Ince has moved on to reveal that it was manager McClaren's angry team talk which inspired the Rams' fine comeback.
"The gaffer came in at half-time and let rip," Ince told the Derby Telegraph.
"He said that we had to look at ourselves. He was the angriest I've seen him since I've been here but he expects the best of us. He expects us to perform well every game and that's what we expect of ourselves."
