Hull City goalkeeper Mark Oxley is enjoying his loan spell with Oldham Athletic.
An ever-present in League One with Lee Johnson's Latics this season, a promising career that has so often stalled is suddenly climbing up through the gears.
"It's one thing going out and playing in front of a couple of hundred people in the reserves, but playing in front of a few thousand gives you that buzz," Oxley, 23, told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I've played so many reserve games that I needed the next challenge and with Hull going up to the Premier League, it's important I get that experience of playing regularly. I feel myself improving game by game."
