Hull keen on Watford striker Vydra

Hull City are eyeing a move for Watford star Matej Vydra, according to reports from The Sun.

Having missed out on the signings of Andre Gray and Dwight Gayle, Hull's search to sign a new striker continues and now Watford star Matej Vydra has been linked with a move to the KC Stadium.

According to the report, Hull are planning a swoop for the Czech Republic international and will have to splash £6million to secure his services.

Hull manager Steve Bruce has admitted his interest in Vydra but has hinted at only a loan move.

Regarding the links, Bruce said: "He's (Vydra) another one we've liked but whether he's available on loan I think that might only be paper talk but we'll see."
