Hull City and Ipswich are battling for Fulham striker David Healy.

Healy, 28, has turned down a temporary move to Sheffield Wednesday but ambitious Hull boss Phil Brown is confident of persuading the Irish attacker to join the Tigers promotion push.

Ipswich also want the former Manchester United player, who has failed to establish himself at Fulham since his £1.5million move from Leeds last summer.
