Hull City have offered Curtis Davies a new long term contract in a bid to avoid allowing him to leave on a free transfer, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.
Davies' future at Hull has been in doubt as the defender has not yet signed an extension to his current deal at the club which expires at the end of the season.
Premier League side Bournemouth were said to be interested in signing Davies but Hull have not given up on their hopes of keeping the 30-year-old at the KC Stadium and Steve Bruce has now reportedly offered him a new long term contract.
