The race for Lorient defender Lamine Kone is heating up.
The Mirror says West Ham United, Sunderland and Hull City are in a three-way fight to land Lorient defender Lamine Kone in the January transfer window.
The powerhouse centre-back is available for £2.2million - despite signing a new three-year deal with the Ligue 1 outfit only last summer.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce, Black Cats manager Gus Poyet and Tigers chief Steve Bruce have all had Kone watched as they look to strengthen their squads for the survival battle ahead of them in the second-half of the season.
