Hull City defender Alex Bruce says playing for his Dad means added pressure for him.

Bruce Jr admits he feels he needs to go the extra mile to prove he deserves his place.

"There's definitely added pressure," he told the Daily Mail. "I'd be lying if I said it wasn't there because it is. It's not only for me, it's for my dad as well.

"When I play it certainly adds a bit of pressure but when you're out on the pitch you don't think of anything other than the game and doing what's best for the team.

"But when you're at home and you're thinking about things, you consider all the possibilities. I feel it more because my dad's the manager."
