As reported by the Daily Mail, Hull City are on the verge of signing Olympiakos defender Omar Elabdellaoui.

New Hull manager Marco Silva has made an impressive start to life at the KCOM Stadium and he is looking to boost the Tigers' chances of avoiding the drop by strengthening his squad during the current January transfer window.

A number of players have been linked with a move to Hull recently and now reports claim that the strugglers are currently close to securing the services of Olympiakos full-back Elabdellaoui on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old Norway international, who can also operate in midfield, played under Silva in the Greek capital.
