Hull City midfielder Sone Aluko has been named ambassador for COD United of Nigeria.
The role will see him facilitate sessions, attend events, represent the club when his schedule allows and share his experiences with players of the club's academy and first team with the aim of inspiring and mentoring them.
Aluko told The National: "It is a great privilege for me to be appointed as an ambassador of C.O.D United FC and their academy.
"To start a partnership with a club of such strong ethical values and a growing reputation nationally and internationally is something I'm very honoured to be a part of."
