Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is considering increasing the size of the pitch at Britannia Stadium to accommodate his more open and expansive style of play.
Stoke, along with QPR, currently have the joint-smallest playing surface in the Premier League at 100m by 66m, but Hughes is now considering making a request to the league in the summer to increase the size of the pitch.
Standard dimensions are 105m by 68m but the Potters were allowed by the league to play with a smaller pitch during Tony Pulis' reign at the helm of the Staffordshire club.
