Stoke City boss Mark Hughes says the club's scouts are working hard to identify potential summer transfer targets.

Hughes plans to strengthen across several positions.

"It never stops," Hughes says of the search for fresh talent.

"Once one window closes you catch your breath for a couple of days and then it starts again.

"Conversations have been had in terms of getting an understanding of what could be available and we are well down that road.

"You've got to be ahead of the game. You can't think you can just rock up a week before the window opens and think you've done enough groundwork to get quality players into the club."
