Hughes pleased with Bojan Stoke debut

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes was pleased with the debut of Bojan Krkic.

Hughes declared himself happy with Bojan's current fitness levels on debut after deciding to give him the first 45 minutes of Saturday's 2-0 defeat by TSV 1860 Munich here in Reit im Winkl.

"He needed time out there to integrate him as soon as possible and we are pleased with what he produced for us," said Hughes to The Sentinel.

"We are pleased by his movement and understanding of the game, and his ability to get between the lines to pick up good positions. And he nearly got off to a great start with an early chance.

"The reason I was able to play him is because he's been training for a week with Barcelona, done individual training and now been with us for a number of days."
