Stoke City are dragging their feet over offering new terms to Peter Crouch.

The Daily Express says Stoke manager Mark Hughes is at odds with his board over Crouch, who is out of contract in the summer.

Sources close to Stoke say Hughes wants to keep his evergreen hitman.

However, the Stoke board are not keen to extend the deal of a player who will be 34 at the end of next month.
