Tom Huddlestone feels justified swapping Tottenham for Hull City.
Hull are safe from the drop, into the FA Cup final and also the Europa League.
"To play regularly was the main reason for me leaving Tottenham and the manager has given me the trust and confidence to do that," Huddlestone told the Mail on Sunday.
"The Cup final, that's an added bonus. First and foremost was guaranteeing safety as soon as possible. We managed to do that with three or four games to go.
"Nobody in their wildest dreams would have expected this."
