Huddersfield warn Celtic off Vaughan

Huddersfield Town manager Mark Robins has told Celtic not to bother lodging a bid for James Vaughan this winter.

Hoops boss Neil Lennon has been to watch the 25-year old striker twice in the past week and has been linked with a January move for his services but Robins says the Terriers are not looking to sell.

"I don't know if he is thinking of an irresistible bid... it doesn't matter what sort of bid it is, he'll get short shrift," said Robins.

"There's absolutely no way on this planet that we'll be parting with Vaughan, and certainly not in January. He need not waste his time."
