Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons remains a target for Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield Town chairman Phil Hodgkinson insists they'll seek to close a deal in January.

"We still are confident that he's the right player," said Hodgkinson to the Examiner.

Hodgkinson added; "He's our top target, he remains so, and what we'd rather do is get through the next 10 weeks to January and get it done."

Town have nailed their colours to the mast on this one and a deal for the 24-year-old looks as good as done at this stage, with Newcastle United eager to move on a player who is unwanted and out of contract at the end of the season.
